Frequently Asked Questions
What vaccines are required for a dog to enter your facility?
Your dog must be vaccinated for Rabies, Distemper, and Bordetella. These vaccines need to be administered at least 10 days before boarding.

What should I bring for my dog?
We ask that you bring your dog’s food portioned out in zip lock bags. Please do not switch to new food; continue with the same food from a week before. Freezer space is available for raw. Treats are also welcome.
Probiotics are a fantastic addition to your pet's vacation packing list! They're like tiny, friendly travel companions for their tummy, ensuring that even while they're away from the comforts of home, their digestive health is being cheered on.

Avoid bringing dishes unless your dog uses a slow-feeding bowl. If your dog needs a raised feeding stand, you can bring it as well.
For toys or mementos, avoid bringing favorite or irreplaceable items in case they get lost or damaged.
We recommend sending your pup with a blanket that smells like home.

Bring a jacket for those cooler days. Belly covers for those sensitive to grass or reach out for a specialized care package.

Do you provide bedding?
We offer various types of bedding, including raised beds and fleece blankets. If you bring bedding from home, ensure it is labeled and replaceable. For large beds, please use a removable cover and wrap the inside cushion with a garbage bag sealed with duct tape, as we wash a lot of bedding daily and cannot wash large cushions.

How old must my dog be to board with you?
Your dog can board with us once they are fully vaccinated.

Does my dog need to be spayed/neutered to board?
Dogs over 12 months old must be spayed/neutered to board, some exceptions apply. Unneutered males under 12 months may need a trial run before acceptance. Females who have had their first heat but are not yet spayed will not be accepted.

I have never boarded my dog before and am uncertain how they will adjust. What should I do?
Most dogs adjust well to our facility, especially if they are social. We require a meet and greet session where your dog spends the afternoon with us (3 hours). During this time, we'll assess their sociability by introducing them to our pack members gradually one at a time. We ask that you bring their breakfast to ensure they will eat their lunches while in our care. We'll also observe how they adapt to a kennel environment. If your dog experiences separation anxiety, reach out to us prior to making a reservation.
Do you accept dogs that are not social?
All dogs must participate in off-leash social time with dogs of similar size. We use social time to keep dogs active and happy. We can work with shy dogs to help them adjust. For the safety and well-being of all our guests, dogs that exhibit aggression towards others are provided with a specialized non-social package. This includes individual playtime and attention. Additionally, we offer a comprehensive board and training program to address and manage behavioral concerns.

How large are your dog suites?
Our kennels are in two sizes, 4’ x 5’, 5’ x 5’, and 6’ x 5’.

Are your play yards secure?
Absolutely. Our play yard walls are 7 feet high. If your dog is a digger or jumper, please let us know before booking.
